Being on a trip turned out to be quite a great experience.
It poured for the entire week, which meant I couldn’t go to the sand and surf spots.
I thought the trip was going to be a failure. It didn’t take long for me to realize that there was more to do in my trip than lay on a beach. My initial goal was to lounge at the beach, drink beers and relax, you can’t do that in the rain. I found a travel guide and started walking through the town. I found shops, bars and cute antique stores to visit. I did a spa afternoon, got my hair and nails trimmed and even took a yoga class. I found 1 of the exhibits I’d ever seen. The building itself was a work of art, plus there was so much to learn. The guides were so nice and attentive since there weren’t a ton of people there. I got to spend the whole afternoon exploring the strange exhibitions. It was still pouring when I left, so I walked around and found a local cannabis cafe. It wasn’t on the travel guide. I could see that the venue sold a wide array of edibles and other cannabis products. I liked indulging in pot brownies back home, but I tried out some new marijuana products this time. The cannabis shop had a dab bar, vape lounge and all sorts of edibles. It was fun knowing I could get high and not worry about driving home or getting up the next afternoon. I spent quite a bit of time with the cannabis products and chatting with the budtender.
