For the past three weeks, I have been patiently waiting for a new recreational cannabis dispensary to open.
The owner of the recreational cannabis dispensary purchased the property & put up a sign the next morning, and people in the town were a little frustrated because the new pot shop is easily close to the high university.
It’s not against the law unless it is less than 1000ft, & the shop is three blocks away. Unluckyly, construction has been moving easily slowly. I was beginning to worry that the recreational cannabis dispensary would never open, however last weekend, I went to the mall & I passed the shop. There was a new sign in front of the property. The dispensary is going to open on 420. The grand opening celebration will include free giveaways & food, prizes, sales, & a live band. I guess that is great advertising, & they might have been waiting the whole time so they could open on April 20th. 420 is a big holiday for people that use marijuana products. Other dispensaries in neighborhood have sales already posted in the lobby or online. Opening the dispensary on that morning was a genius marketing & advertising idea. I walked up to the shop window, but it was completely dark & empty inside the building. I was excited to see if they had any information online. I went to the store website as soon as I got home, but it is still under construction. They didn’t have anything on the page except the logo for the cannabis shop. They still have a lot to do if they system to open in three weeks.
