Last month a customer came back to the dispensary to bring back a basket of edibles.
When the customer moved through the door with the bag, he had a look of distress on his face. I spoke with the customer personally. I have been the manager of the dispensary for the past numerous months. I am the person responsible for ordering our cannabis products. I politely asked the customer to give me some reasons why the edibles were being returned, however the guy told me that they tasted truly awful. The edible cannabis product was basically a basket of chocolate chip cookies. I opened the basket and smelled the contents. There was a brutal smell coming from inside. I decided to open the basket of edibles. I dumped the entire contents onto a sizable piece of paper, however several cookies had white spots that looked something like mold. The customer wanted myself and others to easily taste the edibles, even though I was convinced by the horrendous smell that it was an unnecessary step to take. The customer was dismayed and I tried to make things right. I said we could definitely upgrade the product, however he didn’t seem to want to go for any edibles. I even provided to upgrade the edible cannabis product with something of higher value, but he wanted his currency back and that was that… After the customer left the store, I decided to try the cookies after all. The guy was certainly correct, they tasted extremely nasty. I decided to remove all of the cookies until I was able to reach the manufacturing corporation.
