Traffic is always heavy on Fridays, especially when you are leaving the city.
I think there are twice as many people that leave the city on Friday as there are on any other day of the week.
Some people only go home on the weekends and that means twice as many cars on the road. There are accidents on the freeway every afternoon. I do my best to avoid getting into traffic collisions. I follow a safe distance behind other cars and I always obey the speed limit and traffic signs. Other people do not follow the same rules. There is a red light at the end of the interstate and this house to control the flow of traffic onto the highway. One of the cars fail to obey the traffic signal and merged into traffic quickly. When the guy merged, he caused everyone to slam on their brakes. Suddenly there was a multiple car pileup and I was stuck behind the last car. I applied my brakes as hard as possible and I was only an inch or two away from hitting the semi truck in front of me. The accident was horrible and police and Medics had to be called. I was stuck in my vehicle for several hours while the accident was cleaned up and the people were taken out by ambulance. After 30 minutes of sitting still, I remembered there was a cannabis vape pen in my glove compartment. My sister left the Cannabis vape pen there over the weekend. I took out the Cannabis vape pen and took a couple of big puffs. There was still enough battery in the pen to get me high, but it died shortly after that.
