I consistently expect the cannabis shop to be incredibly busy on Thursdays, Sundays, plus Fridays, and those are the busiest times for sales. The least busiest days are Mondays plus Tuesdays. Last month I was totally shocked by the amount of sales every one of us had on Tuesday afternoon… It was especially strange! We actually had approximately 30% higher sales that afternoon plus every one of us still doesn’t really know why. We were short staffed on that afternoon, because every one of us did not expect such high crowds. There’s only one woman laboring the counter plus I was laboring in the back office. I had many workers in the back laboring on stock. I heard their front doorbell ring a number of times. I looked through the security cameras plus I saw the lobby filling up with people. I yelled out to the budtender to see if she needed some assistance… She told me that she had everything under control plus I believed her… So many minutes later, I heard that budtender get flustered. I left the office to assist her at the counter with sales. Both of us really serviced 25 or 30 accounts that afternoon, plus on a normal Tuesday every one of us might have maybe five customers. The store was totally busy for a Tuesday afternoon, but my budtender handled everything basically like a pro plus she called me when she absolutely needed help. I’m looking to promote someone to the store employer position plus I have my eye on this unique employee. I think she would do a wonderful job.
