My buddies and I were on our way to the beach house from a concert, and it was getting late and all of us were all feeling totally sleepy and worn out.
The concert lasted for the course of the day and I was ready to go to the beach house and get some needed rest. The weather was seriously frigid and rainy… All of us stopped at a rest stop to use the powder room and buy some snacks. Jack said all of us should smoke a joint before all of us went back on the highway. I thought it was a fabulous idea. All of us got out a bag of marijuana and rolled up a joint in no time. All of us sat in the car and smoked the joint before all of us drove away from the rest stop. I smoked half of the joint and I felt especially high. I thought I was seeing things, when a turkey dashed across the road. I mentioned something to my buddies and they could see the turkey also. The crazy animal came out of nowhere. The turkey ran across the road and then stopped, turned around, and started staring at all of my buddies and I. It seemed as though the turkey was attempting to communicate with us. My buddies and I were truly just severely high from smoking a marijuana joint, however the encounter with the turkey was an experience that I will not forget for the longest time… Very soon after all of us saw the turkey, all of us got back into the car and drove the rest of the way back to our household. The next day, all of us talked about that turkey and agreed that it was a fairly odd encounter.
