The customer didn't have an order with us

There are a couple of different marijuana dispensaries in the area. The marijuana dispensary where I work has a name that is similar to another marijuana dispensary on the other side of town. Every once in a while, we get a confused customer that doesn’t remember where they placed an order. Last weekend a woman called to complain about the delivery driver that brought her products. The woman complained that she was missing a pre-roll and she told me that the driver was rude and inconsiderate. I take all of the customer complaints seriously and I immediately looked up her order so I could see who the driver was. I did not find the woman’s name in the system. I asked the woman if she was certain that she ordered from our dispensary. The woman acted like I called her a liar. She got upset and even more angry. She gave me her name again, but I still could not find her order. I asked the woman to tell me the products that she ordered online. I was hoping to match the order contents to a customer. That did not work either, and I quickly realized that the customer did not have an order in our system. I carefully explained to the woman that we don’t carry a couple of those products in our store. She must have contacted a different dispensary to place the order. It was good news for my staff and I, but bad news for the customer. I urged the woman to contact the other dispensary with a name that is similar to ours.
