There are quite a few alright pot shops in the area, however the marijuana dispensary where I task has a name that is genuinely similar to another marijuana dispensary on the other side of town.
Sometimes, we get a confused purchaser that doesn’t remember where they actually placed an order, but the other weekend a lady called to complain about the delivery driver that brought her cannabis items.
The lady complained that she was missing a pre-roll and she told me that the driver was seriously rude and impolite. I take all of the purchaser complaints seriously and I instantly looked up her order so I could try to learn who the driver was. I did not find the woman’s name in the system at all. I asked the lady if she was totally certain that she ordered from our pot shop. The lady acted as if I called her a liar, however she was rather frustrated and even more agitated. She gave me her name again, even though I still could not narrow down her order. I asked the lady to tell me the products that she ordered online. I was hoping to match the order contents to a customer. That did not work very easily either, and I abruptly realized that the purchaser did not have an order in our system at all. I carefully explained to the lady that we don’t carry a couple of those products in our pot shop. She must have contacted a completely different pot shop to place the order. It was absolutely wonderful news for my staff and I, but disappointing news for the customer for certain. I urged the lady to contact the other pot shop with a name that is pretty similar to ours.
