It’s funny to finally realize just how tightly wound I really was.
Those close to me would often comment about my intensity.
And yet, I really didn’t feel like I was all that different from anyone else. However, I’m probably one of the only people I know that went through college without trying recreational marijuana. That’s sort of hard to believe but it’s the absolute truth. I guess I was just pretty focused in college. I was a rower on the club team and carrying a full class load. That didn’t leave a lot of time for partying. Still, I had plenty of opportunities to use marijuana but I just didn’t. So, it’s sort of wild that I’m finding such a taste for cannabis products these days. I’m sort of just in great position with work now. Once I sold the company, all I had to do was keep my hand in as a member of the board. My girlfriend suggested that we go into a cannabis dispensary when we were on vacation out west several years ago. Recreational marijuana was legal, we were on vacation so, why not I thought. But I was so surprised to find that I enjoyed both going to the local cannabis spot and using marijuana. My girlfriend was instrumental in showing me the ropes. We sort of settled on the sativa products as I loved the bright feeling I got with it. So now that we have recreational marijuana in our state, I still smile just thinking that I’m actually shopping in a marijuana business.
