The worst part about working as a delivery driver is having to climb stairs when you have a delivery on the 3rd or 4th floor of an house building, but most of the house buildings in town have more than two or multiple floors.
Most of them do not have an elevator… The only venues with elevators are the high-rises that are located downtown.
These buildings have 10 or more floors, however it would take forever to walk up 10 flights of stairs. I had to walk up multiple flights of stairs on Friday when I delivered marijuana to a guy in the high-rise building. The shopper ordered marijuana supplies from the delivery service although he did not tell anyone that the elevator in the house building was broken. The guy was on the 8th floor. If the people I was with and I had known there was no elevator, after that I would have asked the shopper to meet the delivery driver in the lobby. The delivery driver turned out to be myself and others & I had to walk up all of the stairs. That was the first time in a long time that I forgot something in an order & of course it was on a day when I had to walk all of those stairs. The shopper was supposed to get a free marijuana pre-roll with their order & I had all of the pre-rolls in a bin in our back seat. I had to go all the way back down to the automobile to get the free marijuana pre-roll. I walked a total of 32 flights of stairs that night. I was ready for a cut after that delivery.
