I don’t work very hard at my job when I am uncomfortable. I haven’t had any air conditioning in my car for the past 6 months. I have still been dealing with my job, which is working as a marijuana delivery service driver. I have a pretty huge delivery zone. I start working making deliveries at 8:00 a.m. and I don’t go back to the shop until noon. At that point I refill my vehicle with all of the marijuana deliveries for later that afternoon and I head back out a second time. I earn good tips, but I still have a lot of trouble saving money to get repairs on my car made. I started having trouble with the AC around 6 months ago and I only have $200 saved for the repairs. Fortunately, something really awesome happened last weekend at work. I delivered a marijuana order to a guy at a townhouse. He told me that he could help me fix the air conditioner in my car. I went to see the guy the next day. We worked out a trade so I could have the repairs done now and pay for them in installments. I get paid every two weeks at the marijuana dispensary. I have to give the mechanic $100 every 2 weeks until the repairs on the car are completely paid. The newly working AC means I can make more marijuana deliveries at night. I will be a lot more comfortable and that means I will work harder.
