For sure, I was a major advocate for the legalization of marijuana.
I spent quite a bit of time and energy getting the facts out about the marvelous benefits of medical marijuana.
At the same time, I drew numerous comparisons to recreational marijuana and the availability of alcohol. It made no sense whatsoever that any adult could head to a liquor store, buy a good amount of booze and then go drive a car. The way it seems to me, I adore the cannabis store way more compared to the liquor store. Still, I did quite a bit to get out the vote when it came to recreational cannabis supplies for the people… It was almost as though the group of us were trying to get recreational marijuana to be a mission and get people to vote in a totally logical sort of way. Getting out the facts about cannabis was the most necessary part of all of that. If people are finding the facts and are not basing their choices about legal marijuana on myths, they can make a more responsible choice. It’s a good thing that the recreational marijuana resolution passed and by much more than I considered possible. Almost a few years after that, all the rules and regulations and infrastructure were put into place, and we ended up getting a surprise. There are now weed stores popping up around town, and it’s such a real validation of what sort of effort we all put in to get marijuana legalized for everybody. I even got invited to different ceremonies at the local weed store when it opened. That was a true honor which has gone a long way to further my pleasure about finally getting medical marijuana and recreational marijuana legalized.
