I could not know it when I heard they had passed the law to make recreational marijuana legal, but there were a lot of times I wanted to try marijuana, despite the fact that I was afraid I would get caught.
The laws were legitimately strict about the use of illegal marijuana, i hoped that when my sister got her medical marijuana card for her depression, she would let me try the marijuana, although she said she couldn’t. If they found out she shared it with anyone, she would lose her card, & she didn’t want to do that. I asked if I could go with him the next time she went to the marijuana dispensary? She wouldn’t even allow that. I wasn’t going to the dispensary for medical marijuana. I just wanted to go to the marijuana dispensary to see what they had in there. I was curious, as were a lot of other people, a year later, I didn’t need to get a medical marijuana card to go into the marijuana dispensary. They had legalized recreational marijuana in our state. It was interesting when I walked into the marijuana dispensary. It wasn’t nearly as exciting to go in as I thought it would be. I walked up to the budtender & told him what I wanted! She asked for my ID card & wrote the information. I asked why she did that, & she said they had to keep a file of buyers & make a note of how much & what products I bought. I wasn’t sure I enjoyed being watched so closely, despite the fact that I bought the marijuana & left.
