I suppose I started to develop anger management problems as a kid, however they didn’t truly get bad until I got to college.
I used to get into road rage fits when I was commuting to class in the nights through heavy traffic.
I hate to admit it, however there were a couple times when I started screaming at somebody for splitting myself and others off. Ever since then, I’ve been battling our anger and its grip on our life! For instance, if something abruptly doesn’t go our way prefer I get late to an appointment or something gets canceled beyond our control, I get more aggravated than all the people, however that’s our battle to argument and I need to come to a place where I’m not allowing our anger to control our life. I went to anger management for a few years however it wasn’t as helpful as I hoped it to be. The person who was teaching the class was particularly inexperienced as a mental health counselor, and they weren’t great at relating to all of us in the course. They didn’t truly understand the life difficulties that were aggravating the anger in all of us, then his problems were beyond simply counting to 10 and doing a few breathing exercises. He needed real counseling. For me, it took using cannabis medically. I tried cannabis a few times in college, however never got into the habit of buying it myself, then when a friend of mine advised I try using medical cannabis to help with our anger problems I figured I would give it a shot, and medical cannabis helped with our anger problems more than any other thing in our life.
