My cousin Sasha has a teenage daughter who was born premature.
While she has some health challenges, she is a beautiful and vibrant young lady who loves art and loves to sing and dance. One of her challenges is that she has alopecia, and unfortunately, it impacts her self-confidence. I constantly reassure her that she is beautiful the way she is and that she has a beautiful soul. Anyway, over the years, my cousin Sasha has tried so many different products to try to help with the alopecia. She tries to stay away from harsh chemicals as well as any prescription drugs when treating her daughter’s alopecia. Recently, she joined an online support group with mothers who have children with alopecia. After talking with some of the mothers, she began using CBD oil to stimulate her daughter’s hair growth. I have never used CBD oil or any CBD products, and I know very little about them. So, when my cousin mentioned using the oil, I immediately became concerned about the product and its potential impact on my cousin’s daughter. Due to my ignorance, I thought that CBD products could somehow seep marijuana into the bloodstream. Well, my cousin informed me that CBD products are safe to use for most kids because they don’t have THC, which is the compound that creates the high. After hearing that and doing some research on my own, I found that CBD oils and products are safe for use in teenage kids. I truly hope that the oil helps, so that my cousin’s daughter can gain her confidence back.
