I am bound by law not to go over the cannabis limit

Medical marijuana patients in this state get an allotment each and every month.

This is the amount of marijuana that can be purchased from the store.

In this state, the limits are 2 oz of marijuana for each medical marijuana patient and after that there are no extra purchases. Each patient can purchase a total of 2 oz of medical marijuana in a total of 30 days. I am bound by the federal laws not to go over the limit or the medical marijuana clinic would face fines and possible closure. There are hundreds of security cameras all over the store, so even if I wanted to split the rules, it would be genuinely impossible. 1 of my medical marijuana patients came to the dispensary early on Sunday morning. It was the 30th afternoon of the month and the client wanted to purchase a few grams of marijuana, unfortunately, the patient was already at the limit for the month and still had to wait 1 more day until he was able to purchase more dried medical marijuana flower. I gave the patient the terrible news and then I provided to supplement the medical marijuana flower with a sativa vape cartridge. The client was entirely angry and irate and started yelling… He tried to say that my work associates and I sold him more marijuana than not the previous month, so I looked up his payment history. That was not the truth and in fact the patient didn’t even meet the two ounce mark the previous month. I told the angry patient that I was entirely sorry, however there was no way for me to bend the rules. After that, the client left entirely angry and aggravated.
