Pleased to be in the marijuana business

I quit my day job just about a year ago and have never looked back.

That job was something I did in order to pay the bills and have a bit of financial security.

But getting rich really wasn’t ever a part of the plan to be honest. I’m more about living life’s passions. And my passion has been cannabis ever since I discovered it back in my 20’s. The fact that I could never be certain of the THC content and the shadiness of trying to buy weed led me to growing cannabis on my own. Now, I have never sold anything that I’ve grown. Again, that wasn’t the point. I gave away all the different sativa and indica strains that I grew. There were plenty of people that benefited from the medical marijuana they were provided for free. I was an under the radar cannabis grower for the better part of 25 years before being able to do it legally. That’s why I quit my job last year. I finally decided, after lots of encouragement from many, it was time to become a legal marijuana grower. I used my savings to get licensed and then expanded my growing operation. Over the past year, I’ve had my cannabis products in nearly all the cannabis dispensaries in our state. This outcome is far beyond even my wildest dreams when it comes to what I expected in my first year. But then again, I’ve been able to introduce a couple of new cannabis strains that have become quite popular. That not only makes me proud but I’m just so happy to be working my passion for the first time in my life.
