An innovator of the local cannabis community

In the local cannabis scene, I am known as an innovator and a trailblazer.

At last count there were fourteen different dispensaries, in various neighborhoods and parts of town.

Over the last two years, basically ever since society came back from COVID, I have noticed all the other shops follow my lead, and do what I do. When I started offering free home delivery on cannabis orders over a certain dollar amount, everyone else did it too. After I sponsored a local street fair with live music, a few other cannabis shops have tried similar events. I was the first cannabis shop to hand out free stickers and posters, because I knew it would generate free advertising. Guess what happened next? Every other cannabis dispensary handed out free swag. They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and in this case I couldn’t possibly be more flattered! It doesn’t bother me, but I am focused on my own success, and the success of my cannabis operation. I would absolutely steal a great idea from a rival cannabis shop if those mopes ever had an idea worth stealing! I heard a rumor that one of my rivals was going to open a cannabis smokers lounge in their store. This is an idea I have previously considered, but decided not to pursue. In this state there are strict no-smoking policies for business, including tobacco and cannabis. Why bother opening a cannabis smokers lounge if people are not allowed to smoke cannabis indoors? It doesn’t make any sense, and it won’t make money.
