I believe I never honestly gave a lot of thought to whether or not my depression was affecting my children or my husband. I knew that I was having a difficult time with the depression, but I didn’t suppose it was honestly affecting them. One morning, my husband and I sat down to talk, however he told me that I had to get the depression under control, or he and the children would have to leave. He showed me a website he had found online. The website was discussing medical marijuana and what all it could do to help me. It gave case studies to prove how much help medical marijuana has been given to people who suffered from manic depression. That night, my husband and I sat down at the laptop and started filling out all the information on the website, but both of us found out that our state was a single of the last a singles to have passed laws concerning medical marijuana and they told us all the information the two of us needed for me to get a medical marijuana card, and my husband also had to fill out an information section because he was going to be my caretaker. If I was unable to go to the medical marijuana dispensary to pick up my marijuana, he would be able to go in for me. After getting my medical marijuana card and heading into the marijuana dispensary, I finally felt some comfort. I knew that I was finally taking control of my life, and of my depression. I knew medical marijuana was going to be the saving grace for both my marriage and for my children.
