Last Friday, I wanted to visit the marijuana dispensary before it closed. They were having a huge 20% off sale on every item in the shop. The dispensary closes at 9 p.m., so I didn’t know if I would make it to the shop in time. When I was placing my order, I decided to choose the delivery option. I hoped I would be able to have the items delivered to my house after I was done with work. Delivery is so much easier than standing in line at the dispensary. I spoke with a budtender at the store after I placed my order and I told the woman that I would not be home until 8:30 pm. She agreed to hold my cannabis delivery order until the last delivery of the day. He told me that the last orders leave the store at 8 p.m. I thought I would be home by the time the delivery driver arrived. When I got stuck in traffic on the way home, I was really worried that I wouldn’t be home when the marijuana delivery arrived. Thankfully, traffic cleared up fast and I was pulling into the driveway by 8:25. The delivery driver arrived just as I was opening the front door with my house key. If I had waited another five minutes to leave work, I might have missed the guy completely.
