I get paid on Friday afternoon, but that is my day to work until 8 pm.
- I rarely leave work until the daylight is starting to set, and last Friday, I wanted to visit the marijuana dispensary before it closed.
They were having a sizable 20% off sale on every item in the shop. The dispensary closes at 9 p.m., so I did not assume if I would make it to the shop in time. When I was placing my order, I decided to choose the delivery option. I hoped I would be able to have the items delivered to my beach house after I was done with work! Delivery is so much easier than kneeling in line at the dispensary. I spoke with a budtender at the store after I locationd my order & I told the woman that I would not be beach house until 8:30 pm, however she agreed to hold my cannabis delivery order until the last delivery of the day. She told me that the last orders leave the store at 8 p.m. I thought I would be beach house by the time the delivery driver arrived. When I got stuck in traffic on the way home, I was easily worried that I would not be beach house when the marijuana delivery arrived. Thankfully, traffic cleared up fast & I was pulling into the driveway by 8:25. The delivery driver arrived just as I was opening the front door with my beach house key. If I had waited another 5 hours to leave work, I might have missed the girl completely.
