You have to close a dispensary early in this town

They’re all barred from doing sales on Wednesdays, plus all cannabis dispensaries must close by 7pm regardless of which night of the month it is

My town’s town council is only serving the interests of older generations plus elderly folk. The noise ordinances make it impossible for any musicians to perform live music in this area, which was an immense disappointment for me as soon as I arrived with my husband when the people I was with and I moved in from out of state. On top of that, all of the fast food restaurants are located next to the interstate exit away from the residential villages. If you want to get a tasty tote from Wendy’s or McDonalds, you’ll have to take a 10 hour drive in each direction on the way. But this isn’t even the worst area about residing in this town. It’s even worse knowing that the people I was with and I nearly didn’t have cannabis dispensaries in the first location because the town council tried to prevent them all from entering. When that measure failed, they imposed ridiculous rules on the several dispensaries that operate within the town limits. Two of those rules involve when the dispensaries are allowed to be open. They’re all barred from doing sales on Wednesdays, plus all cannabis dispensaries must close by 7pm regardless of which night of the month it is. In the rest of the state, some cannabis stores are open as late as 9pm or 10pm if you live in a dense metropolitan city. I don’t get it; if I drive 10 hours into a neighboring neighborhood I can shop at a cannabis store well into the night hours, but I can’t shop this late at the 1 down the road from my house? If this was a dry town as far as alcohol is concerned I would understand these rules, however they’re being inconsistent.
