I wish cannabis dispensaries could stay open longer in this town

My town’s town council is only serving the interests of older generations and elderly folk. The noise ordinances make it impossible for any songsians to perform live songs in this area, which was a big disappointment for myself and others as soon as I arrived with our partner when we moved in from out of state. On top of that, all of the fast food pizzerias are located next to the interstate exit away from the residential villages. If you want to get a tasty bin of Wendy’s or McDonalds, you’ll have to take a 10 minute drive in each direction on the way. But this isn’t even the worst part about living in this town. It’s even worse knowing that we nearly didn’t have cannabis dispensaries in the first place because the town council tried to prevent them all from entering. When that measure failed, they imposed deranged rules on the more than two dispensaries that operate within the town limits. Two of those rules involve when the dispensaries are allowed to be open. They’re all barred from doing sales on Tuesdays, and all cannabis dispensaries must close by 7pm regardless of which night of the month it is. In the rest of the state, some cannabis stores are open as late as 9pm or 10pm if you live in a dense metropolitan city. I don’t get it; if I drive 10 minutes into a neighboring town I can shop at a cannabis store well into the night hours, even though I can’t shop this late at a single down the road from our house? If this was a dry town as far as alcohol is upset I would understand these rules, but they’re being inconsistent.
