Each week at the cannabis dispensary, we have sales and giveaways to get people in the doors.
This is always a great boost for our sales and it helps introduce customers to new items and products.
People will always buy something new if they can get it on sale. Last Monday afternoon, we had a representative from one of the live resin companies. The representative was giving away free t-shirts with the logo of the live resin company on the front and back. The guy had a whole table full of t-shirts and there was no reason why everyone wasn’t going to get one for free. There was a line of people outside of the dispensary waiting to come inside. I sent one of my budtenders out front to watch the line. Sometimes people can become unruly when there is a long wait. We didn’t have any major problems on that day until an hour before closing. One gentleman came into the dispensary to purchase some items and he saw the free table with the t-shirts. It was only an hour before closing and a lot of sizes were already gone. The guy wanted a 3XL t-shirt, but the best we could do was an XL. When the guy found out that we didn’t have the right size for his free t-shirt, he became outraged and started yelling and screaming as loud as he could. To be honest, it didn’t seem like normal behavior to me. I told the guy to calm down or we were going to call the police. I hoped the threat would work and it did. The guy decided to leave the store after paying for his cannabis supplies.
