I do the snowbird thing, and i go from a tightly regulated eastern state or a much looser western state.
- I go from drastic mask mandates and COVID protocols to nobody even acknowledging the virus is a thing.
I also change from state tax and bad political climates to a much more liberal state, another benefit is that one state only allows medical weed and the other one is recreational cannabis friendly. I only use cannabis in order to sleep at evening. I have cannabis oil and gummies that I occasionally take to sleep… Every evening the cannabis oil goes into our cup of tea. It usually soothes our mind and helps me relax in bed, but occasionally it doesn’t quite do the trick, then I eat several gummies with a high THC pleased and I totally zonk out. I sleep so well. I assume more energetic and rested throughout the day. I am in a great mood and productive at work, and when I return back to the east, I don’t get to bring our cannabis products. I then have to rely on a sound machine, a great pillow and hope that I get a great evening of rest; Going from straight-forward evenings of sleep to insomnia is just horrible. I have thought about becoming a medical weed patient so that I can have our oil and gummies in both locations. However, the snowbird life is a short term thing. Eventually I am going to live out west full time and have access to legal weed.
