I do the snowbird thing, i go from a tightly regulated eastern state or a much looser western state.
I go from serious mask mandates and COVID protocols to nobody even acknowledging the virus is a thing. I also change from state tax and terrible political temperatures to a much more liberal state… Another benefit is that one state only allows medical weed and the other one is recreational cannabis friendly. I only use cannabis in order to sleep at evening. I have cannabis oil and gummies that I occasionally take to sleep, however every evening the cannabis oil goes into my cup of tea. It usually soothes my mind and helps myself and others relax in bed, occasionally it doesn’t quite do the trick, then I eat more than one gummies with a high THC satisfied and I totally zonk out. I sleep so well. I believe more energetic and rested throughout the day. I am in a great mood and productive at work! When I return back to the east, I don’t get to bring my cannabis products. I then have to rely on a sound machine, a great pillow and hope that I get a unbelievable evening of rest, then going from simple evenings of sleep to insomnia is just horrible. I have thought about becoming a medical weed patient so that I can have my oil and gummies in both locations! However, the snowbird life is a short term thing. Eventually I am going to live out west full time and have access to legal weed.
