I do the snowbird thing, however i go from a tightly regulated eastern state or a much looser western state.
- I go from dire mask mandates and COVID protocols to nobody even acknowledging the virus is a thing.
I also change from state tax and awful political climates to a much more liberal state, and another benefit is that one state only allows medical weed and the other one is recreational cannabis friendly. I only use cannabis in order to sleep at night. I have cannabis oil and gummies that I periodically take to sleep, but every night the cannabis oil goes into our cup of tea. It usually soothes our mind and helps myself and others relax in bed… Occasionally it doesn’t quite do the trick… Then I eat various gummies with a high THC content and I totally zonk out. I sleep so well. I suppose more energetic and rested throughout the day. I am in a good mood and productive at work, but when I return back to the east, I don’t get to bring our cannabis products. I then have to rely on a sound machine, a good pillow and hope that I get a great night of rest. Going from easy days of sleep to insomnia is just horrible. I have thought about becoming a medical weed patient so that I can have our oil and gummies in both locations, however, the snowbird life is a short term thing. Eventually I am going to live out west full time and have access to legal weed.
