Cannabis helps my golf game

Golf has a reputation for being both exclusive and exclusionary.

Golf has a history of keeping out all but the richest and most powerful.

That has changed a lot in the last twenty years, with many cities opening public golf courses that charge a fraction of what the country clubs do. This is great news for someone like me, because I love to play golf but am not rich enough to join a country club. My friends and I used to play in the fields around our houses, making our own courses and digging our own holes. We were all well fueled by cannabis in those days, although I guess some things never change. I still love smoking cannabis as much as ever, but it is very hard to do while on a public golf course. Cannabis edibles get me good and stoned, but they also relax my body too much and it negatively impacts my game. Since I can’t smoke actual weed while playing golf, the next best thing is using cannabis oil in my vape pen. Vaping has none of the rambunctious odor of cannabis, but just as much THC content. I can gently puff on my vape pen throughout the 18 holes of play, keeping myself at the perfect level of highness. Of course, I do have a couple big fat cannabis joints as well – one for the ride to the course, and another one for the ride home. I know that you can play golf without smoking cannabis, I just don’t know why anyone would want to!
