Cannabis helps reduce my stress levels

I have had issues with stress for as long as I can remember. I came up in an era where things like anxiety and depression were not considered serious issues. If I told my parents I was feeling depressed they would give me a few bucks to go see a movie. No therapy or medical consultation, just a friendly “get over it” and that was all. As a teenager I began to experiment with self-medication, mostly with booze and weed. When I got to college I was more mature, and started using cannabis as a way to treat my anxiety, instead of just getting wasted. It turns out that the problem was my dosage. In small doses, cannabis generates some pretty amazing and interesting effects. Smoking a little cannabis before I write or paint opens up the creativity in my mind and allows me to cut loose and create something fresh. Before I study I like to blaze a little marijuana to help my mind relax and open up to new ideas. On the other hand, when the dosage is too high I just get blotto and become worthless! There is a huge difference between smoking a little bit, and getting absolutely wrecked by smoking as much cannabis as possible. When I was younger that’s what I did – I chugged liquor and smoked too much cannabis, and it made my brain soft. In smaller, controlled doses cannabis can strengthen your mind, and allow you to think and create in innovative new ways! When it comes to cannabis, smoke a little, not a lot!
