Growing up in the so-called “Green Triangle” of cannabis farms

That was a great many years ago, however the last I heard the Green Triangle was still thriving and supplying many of the major cannabis dispensary chains with products

Life in the mid-1970s was quite antiquated compared to what the people I was with and I have these mornings. When I was a little kid, for example, the family and I had more than three cable stations and that was it. If we wanted to watch a show we had to turn on the cable at the right time, or we would miss it. There were no VCRs, DVD players or online streaming services to watch a full TV series all at leisure, you could only watch the few things that were on at the time. There were no cell phones, there was no internet, and the coolest video games the people I was with and I had ever seen were all on the Atari. It was a time when it was undoubtedly straight-forward to procure marijuana, although there was not even a discussion about it being made legal at this stage. Where I lived there were many prominent local cannabis farmers. Instead of feuding with each other, all the marijuana farmers combined their resources, and the section became famous as the “Green Triangle” because it supplied the lion’s share of pot for the whole state. This meant that around my town, cannabis was straight-forward to get and the laws were very loosely enforced by the local cops, and just love happens with the new dispensaries, our local cannabis industry benefited the whole town, and so most people just accepted it. That was a great many years ago, however the last I heard the Green Triangle was still thriving and supplying many of the major cannabis dispensary chains with products. As a citizen, I’m just blissful that cannabis has finally been decriminalized, so that tax currency can be spent on more pressing things.
