It’s so nice to finally wake up on Monday and not be sick.
For me, that’s pretty much the way it’s been for over 12 years.
From the time I went to school until recently, I always overindulged whenever it came to alcohol. That has changed thanks to recreational marijuana finally becoming legal in this state. It was becoming quite clear to myself and others that I was drinking too much booze. Once I hit 35, the effects of partying were starting to get debilitating. Instead of waking up on my afternoon off for a bike ride, I had a hangover until the night only to party too much again. I had to stop and with the help of a health counselor and sativa strains for sale at the local cannabis spot, I’ve done just that. Initially, I was afraid that I might just update using too much booze with using too much marijuana. I brought this up with my counselor and both of us explored the facts about alcohol dependency and how it was a genetic issue for me. My dad is a barely functioning alcoholic and my grandDad drinks far too much in almost a defensive way. So the health counselor felt that myself and others using cannabis products were going to be much different. And it was right from the start. I don’t know that using sativa or hybrid strains doesn’t make myself and others want more and more. It’s only a few puffs, to relax and get a wonderful perspective instead of pounding drinks at the bar. It’s such a better lifestyle option and I’m no longer nursing hangovers.
