I knew that I needed new wipers for our windshield, although I did not make it a priority to get them changed, the people I was with and I rarely have rain in the city, then it’s just something that does not occur… Unluckyly, when the rain does happen, it can be legitimately quick & sudden, and last Monday night was severely busy.
I was delivering marijuana orders for the dispensary.
I was supposed to work an 8-hour shift. I started our morning at 2 & 4 p.m., it already started to look adore nighttime outside. The storm clouds were rolling into the valley & it was clearly going to rain. I hoped the rain would stay away so I could finish all of our marijuana deliveries before I went back home. I was on the bridge when the rain started to fall heavily. I tried to use our windshield wipers! One of them fell apart completely & the other 1 was the passenger side wiper. It was getting some of the rain but not a lot. I opened up our window so I could look outside for a better view of the traffic, but as soon as I exited the highway & made the marijuana delivery, I went to the auto parts store to get a new pair of windshield wipers. Thankfully 1 of the store clerks provided to put the wipers on the car for me so I did not have to sit out in the rain. The guy had an umbrella & he was a member of the store service team. I thanked the guy for helping me out in a jiffy & I tried to supply him a tip, and he refused the cash & told me to stay safe.
