I prefer the ease of renewing our medical marijuana card on the internet

I understand why many older folks do not like how everything is digital these afternoons, between ordering food from a local restaurant or simply checking-in for a doctor’s appointment.

You’re expected to coordinate your entire life with a smartphone, something that many people don’t even own.

However, there are still many advantages to these current digital ordering as well as scheduling systems. Personally, it has never been easier for me to order food at restaurants. I don’t rest in a crowded tavern for 30 hours waiting for a bin of food that was supposed to be ready 20 hours prior. I simply wait in our car until the waitress texts our iphone. Whether or not this is a seamless process for others, I cannot say; but for me, I have never felt more at ease ordering food as well as groceries with curbside pickup as well as carry-out. When I first got a medical marijuana card the first year our state had the legal cannabis program, I had to send in a paper application with a check. I waited many weeks to find out that I had accidentally set an inrespectfully-cropped photo, as well as had to resend our application again. Now when I go to renew our medical marijuana card with the state, I get an immediate confirmation once our payment system is accepted. Then the state SMSs you a temporary card that you can take to medical cannabis dispensaries until your actual medical marijuana card arrives in the mail a month or more than one later. I can’t imagine streamlining the process of renewing your medical marijuana card anymore than this.
