Less than ten seconds after I hung up, he was on his phone
I had been using the cannabis delivery service ever since I moved into this area. It started long before the pandemic, so no one could accuse me of being afraid of people. I was afraid, however, because I had a condition called agoraphobia. I was afraid to leave my house. There were times I would walk to the park and get some fresh air, but it was always with a trusted friend, and when the park was empty. It was directly across the street from my house. My friend was only one of three people allowed in my house. Everyone knew of my agoraphobia, and it was the reason I used medical cannabis. When I called the cannabis dispensary to have my regular order delivered, I thought it was straightforward. They were to knock on my door and walk away. This cannabis delivery driver had not gotten that memo. He walked up to the door and knocked. When I asked who it was, he said he had a delivery for me. I refused entrance to the cannabis delivery driver, which had him angry. He told me he would take the order back to the cannabis dispensary. I called the cannabis dispensary and told them about the cannabis delivery driver, and how he wanted to come into my house. Less than ten seconds after I hung up, he was on his phone. He held up his hands and told me the package was on the porch. I called my best friend, who lived next door, and she grabbed my cannabis delivery and brought it into the house for me.
