I taught myself how to cook with cannabis

I really miss the COVID quarantine.

Am I alone in this? I had the best time during the lockdown, and wished it never ended.

I had so much time for hobbies, I taught myself how to knit and crochet, and then turned my attention to home improvements. I repainted the entire interior of my home, and laid down laminate flooring in the dining room. Then I decided to work on my cooking skills, which admittedly were quite weak. I spent a few weeks pouring through cookbooks and trying my hand at various recipes. That’s when I got the idea to make my own cannabis edibles, just to see if I could do it. I dug through my collection of old books until I found one called the Anarchists Cookbook, which has a collection of cannabis recipes in it. This book is from the 70s so none of the recipes are fancy, it’s just innovative ways to combine marijuana with your meals. I learned about making cannabis oil – not the kind of cannabis oil you vaporize, but a cannabis-infused olive oil used for cooking. Once the essence of the cannabis is infused into the olive oil, it can be used to bring that flavor and THC potency to everything else I cook in it. This allowed me to make delightful pasta dishes and vegetarian recipes where all the ingredients had been infused with cannabis. The only problem I have with this kind of cooking is that by the time I’m done eating I am far too stoned on cannabis to bother cleaning up. I just want to nap on the couch!
