On the eve of 4/20, my friends and I waited all night outside the dispensary.
- We arrived around 2 in the morning.
My friends thought we were getting there too early, but someone else was pulling up in their car as we were looking for parking. We got to the front of the line first. It had been a chilly and cold evening and it was still quite cold outside since it was still dark. My friends and I wanted to be the first people to go into the dispensary. They were giving out prize bags to the first 100 people to walk through the doors. We weren’t even required to make a purchase, although my friends and I spent plenty of money at that dispensary. When the manager opened the doors, my friends and I walked through the door and saw all of the celebration and fanfare. There were streamers all over the dispensary and a couple of balloons situated in the corners. The manager gave my friends and I each a bag as we walked through that door. We browsed the items available for purchase, but we didn’t open the bag until we were outside. I decided to buy some of my favorite live resin concentrate, because it was 20% off that day. I purchased one of the more expensive products and received a second free gift with that purchase. The free gift was a pre-roll, but I didn’t mind spending a little bit more for the expensive live resin just to get a free gift. After all, that is exactly why my friends and I waited outside all night.
