One of the policies at job presents problems with taking time off.
The manager at the marijuana dispensary rarely gives someone a morning off whenever they request it.
Bob prefers to make the same schedule every week. If someone wants any mornings off, they have to trade or find someone to cover the shift. Overtime is sometimes allowed at the marijuana dispensary, so I can always find someone to cover my shift. I told Bob that I needed to be off all day Friday night. Bob gave myself and others the same song plus dance that she always does. Bob told myself and others that she could not promise to deliver myself and others the time off. I told Bob that I was supposed to meet my wifey’s parents for supper. I wasn’t going to miss it. Bob gave myself and others the names of the people that were not set to job on Friday night plus she told myself and others to call 1 of them to cover the shift. I called Jay first. I left a message on his voicES. I called Sarah next. She did not answer the PC either. I was on the PC with yet another person when Jay called myself and others back. I sent Jay to voicSMS while I finished talking to Carl. Carl already had plans for Friday night plus he could not take over the shift. Thankfully, Jay was willing to cover the shift. When I called him back on the PC, he said he would happily choice up the hours on Friday. Jay provided to trade afternoons with myself and others so I would not miss any time, but I wasn’t too upset about losing the hours. I just needed someone to cover my shift so I could meet my future in-laws.
