I wasn’t going to the dispensary for medical marijuana.

I could not believe it when I heard they had passed the law to make recreational marijuana legal, then there were a lot of times I wanted to try marijuana, but I was afraid I would get caught.

The laws were legitimately strict about the use of illegal marijuana; I hoped that when my sibling got his medical marijuana card for his depression, he would let myself and others try the marijuana, but he said he couldn’t. If they found out he shared it with anyone, he would lose his card, and he didn’t want to do that. I asked if I could go with him the next time he went to the marijuana dispensary? He wouldn’t even allow that. I wasn’t going to the dispensary for medical marijuana. I just wanted to go to the marijuana dispensary to see what they had in there. I was curious, as were a lot of other people, but a year later, I didn’t need to get a medical marijuana card to go into the marijuana dispensary. They had legalized recreational marijuana in our state. It was interesting when I walked into the marijuana dispensary. It wasn’t nearly as exciting to go in as I thought it would be. I walked up to the budtender and told him what I wanted! He asked for my ID card and wrote the information. I asked why he did that, and he said they had to keep a file of clients and make a note of how much and what products I purchased. I wasn’t sure I loved being watched so closely, but I purchased the marijuana and left.
