I’m sick of getting cannabis flower products with mold in them

Mold is a fact of life plus a constant product of the environment that we live in.

  • You cannot rid the world of mold anymore than you can rid it of soil or sand.

Furthermore, unlike soil plus sand, mold spores in a process of constant regeneration from dying plants that wither plus decay. The second you walk outside, there are spores in the air entering your lungs. There are ways to mitigate it in your indoor environment for sure, however you’re left to the elements when you go outside, then certainly some environments are much worse than others. This is why some can’t live in our state, as we are known to possess some of the highest mold levels in the country. That’s what makes it strenuous to grow marijuana in this temperature, because any outdoor grow operations will naturally have some spores making it onto the plants. Even if there isn’t enough moisture for bud rot to occur before harvest, the spores could slowly release toxins while the flower products sit on a shelf in a plastic bottle. It’s frustrating to spend our money $50 for an third of an ounce of weed plus then open it plus aroma a musty stink. And it’s even more frustrating if the cannabis dispensary refuses to take returns on defective products. There is a single certain cannabis business in our state that takes returns for virtually any reason, plus that’s a important selling point for me. If I don’t like something or the product I acquire is defective, the cannabis dispensary is willing to do an exchange or to issue a credit towards a future purchase. This includes situations when the cannabis flower products are contaminated at some point along the product line.
