I joined a local gym that promotes holistic health using both yoga and medical cannabis in conjunction.
After the accident, our whole life shifted. I was involved in a nasty multi-car pileup on the highway, although compared to some of the other victims I am in great shape. Very late at night, in the middle of a brutal ice storm, a semi truck jackknifed in the center of the road, and caused a chain reaction involving 40 other vehicles, including mine. I spent some time in the hospital, however since then I’ve spent years dealing with all the fallout of that night. I cracked multiple vertebrae and have experienced non-stop nagging aches and pains ever since. In an attempt to avoid addiction to opioids, I chose to use medical cannabis to deal with our pain, with moderate success. I understand that prescription pain meds would be far more effective, however to myself and others it isn’t worth the risk. Medical cannabis is very safe and non-addictive, which more than makes up for everything else. Medical cannabis helps myself and others to relax, it helps myself and others to fall asleep, and to some degree it mitigates the pain. I joined a local gym that promotes holistic health using both yoga and medical cannabis in conjunction. That means the yoga teacher brings his own homegrown medical cannabis strain and the two of us start off the yoga session by sharing a large joint. Medical cannabis can relax the body and the mind, and it was the perfect way to ease into the world of yoga. I have to be careful because our back is sensitive, however I must disclose the combination of yoga poses and medical cannabis makes myself and others assume so much better. One day maybe I’ll be up to 100% mobility again.
