Medical marijuana is more expensive than recreational

My partner and I lived in a southern state with medical marijuana, we got our medical marijuana cards after visiting with a doctor and paying the state a $75 fee.

I wanted to start using medical marijuana for PTSD symptoms that were getting progressively worse and my partner wanted to use medical marijauna to help with her anxiety.

We were listed under the adequate terms for medical marijuana, but we were issued medical cards so we could buy anything from the local dispensary. The prices were insanely high, but we had legal access to marijuana. Last year, my partner and I decided to sell our condo and move to the west coast where marijuana is 100% legal. You do not need a note from the nurse and you can smoke it legally inside your home. Before my partner and I moved, we were paying about $40 for an eighth of marijuana and that or popcorn buds. The first time I went to a recreational shop, I was amazed by the cheap prices. Recreational marijuana is so much cheaper than medical weed. I’m saving a ton of money now that all of us moved. Before we moved, everything was absolutely pricey. Instead of paying $40 for an eighth of a flower, I can find several odd strains from a multitude of growers for under $30 and a couple under $20. I didn’t realize that recreational marijuana was going to be so cheap. We would have moved out west years ago. The weather is clear and moderate and people are friendly and welcoming.
