I had a marijuana delivery on the 5th floor of an apartment building and the stairs were broken.
It took me 10 minutes to climb 5 flights of stairs. I was tired and winded by the time I got to the top. I had to take a short break so I wasn’t huffing and puffing when I knocked on the door of the customer. I had a whole bag of marijuana supplies in my hand. The customer had ordered an ounce of marijuana flower as well as some cannabis concentrate and pre-rolls. The customer gave me a $15 tip, which I thought was incredibly generous. The guy mentions the broken elevator, so I guess he felt sorry for me. When I got back down to the car, I realized that I left my lights on. My car battery turned over the first time, but my car would not start. The second time I tried the key, I got a completely dead battery. I honestly didn’t know what to do. I wasn’t close to the dispensary and I didn’t have anyone to call. I only news a customer, so I decided to call the person. I carefully explained the situation and I told the customer that I would happily return his $15 tips if he would allow me to jump my battery from his vehicle. The guy came down the stairs a few minutes later with a raincoat and umbrella. He helped me charge my car battery and he let me keep the $15 tip. I was super thankful for a helpful customer, because the dead battery could have been a disaster instead of a slight inconvenience.
