It is quite a difficult process to get certified for medical marijuana. In this state, the dentists are actually unique about the reasons they will prescribe medical marijuana. I practically had to jump through hoops to get the dentist to say yes. There were other states that would have automatically qualified me for medical marijuana, however this place is in the Bible Belt plus they are holding onto their backwards laws as tightly as they can. I had to spend a fortune with the dentist before the woman would certify me for medical marijuana. Then I had to wait 3 weeks before the certification plus card arrived in the mail. These 2 items were necessary to have in order to be able to shop at the medical marijuana dispensary. I was so happy plus glad when our card arrived, until I realized that our name was misspelled. I didn’t think it was going to be a huge deal until the lady at the desk would not let me into the dispensary. She claimed that the medical marijuana card could have been a fake or a fraud. I had all of the necessary paperwork linked to the card, however the lady still would not budge on her ruling. I got absolutely frustrated plus started cursing plus swearing. The security guard stepped over to the counter where I was standing. I knew that I better leave before I got banned from the dispensary for life. I had to leave the building plus call the state certification office to handle the problem.
