My first daughter Savannah changed my entire life.
It may sound corny, but it’s true.
I was a man without direction in life, and at the time I liked it that way! I never wanted kids, or a wife, nor did I have any ambition beyond getting stoned that night. Savannah changed all that, and although she was a big surprise at the time, it was the shock to the system I needed. I immediately found more focus and drive, because now I needed a lot more money. I also had to stop smoking cannabis inside the house, and that was far more difficult than anything else. As all pot smokers know, nothing in cannabis is habit-forming or addictive physically, so I didn’t go through withdrawal without it. On the other hand, I was grouchy and uptight, because cannabis was the main thing I had to relieve stress and anxiety. For the good of Savannah and myself, I resisted the urge, but I did invest in some cannabis edibles to help take the edge off. While edibles didn’t give me the same kind of high as smoking did, they did help my body relax, and make me a little less tense. The only problem with edibles is that they didn’t get me high like I wanted, although they really did help me sleep better than smoking ever did. When Savannah gets a little older, I’m sure I will go back to smoking cannabis the old fashioned way, but for now the edibles are getting the job done. It’s a price I’m willing to pay.
