So when I was in business school, I was always sort of looking down on those who used marijuana.

However, I was a pretty straight edge sort of guy with too much dog eat dog in me. That sort of perspective has shifted over the years. And now is the time to get in on what will likely be the last sort of early opportunity with the marijuana business unless you’re a marijuana grower. I’m not a marijuana grower but I’m certainly a cannabis investor. With the recent spate of states choosing to legalize some form of cannabis, we are up to more than half the states. Clearly, as evidenced from the last election cycle, the east coast is about to break wide open. When that happens, and it will happen, there will be enormous growth in the marijuana business. So now is the time to get into that sort of investment. I’m diversified across many layers of the cannabis industry. From marijuana growers to equipment to process and grow cannabis. The pay off from this investment could be a really enormous windfall for my investment portfolio. I think the time is very close where the corporate marijuana business will be huge.

So medical marijuana passed fairly recently in the state I live in.

This was a big deal around here.

There were plenty of support for both the pro marijuana side and the anti cannabis folks. It got quite spirited in some instances. But after getting on the ballot again, the state finally had medical marijuana. This was something that was always a big of a curiosity for me. I’ve always sort of had a mild curiosity when it comes to cannabis anyway. Being so shy and studious, I never indulged in recreational marijuana when I was young. But the reason I was so curious about the new marijuana business was that I might really benefit from medical marijuana. I have some arthritis that is tough on me. When it’s really flaring, I’m nearly unable to do anything at all. Mainly because when the pain gets that bad, the only thing that managed it was stuff that made me pretty loopy. For most, those meds don’t have that affect. For me, if I took one of those pills, it was lights out. So I had done some research on indica products for my situation. The data was undeniable but when I started talking with people who were dealing with a version of pain I could relate to, it became clear. So I got a medical marijuana card and gave cannabis products a try. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the indica strains for sale were just what I needed. But it’s true. In our state, we started with medical marijuana but that evolved. And I thing the law evolved because medical marijuana was such a shining success. And the added revenue for the state from taxes and licensure of marijuana growers was huge. It was way too smooth and too much money for politicians to simply walk away from. So naturally, recreational marijuana was something that we were able to enjoy a few years after medial marijuana became legal. And for me, I wasn’t so sure that I’d see the day come where there would be legal recreational marijuana. That said, I’m sure grateful to have it. I love going to the local cannabis spot. It’s just such a cool place to be. Just about an 100 percent of the people in there are smiling and nice. That’s the sort of environment that I like to be around. So it’s sort of a welcome back in a way and just right on time as well. I still work hard but I now mix in some self pampering. But this cannabis dispensary is for real. They have everything I could possibly ask for in that place. And these folks really know their cannabis products. I’m really just so thankful to be able to have neighbors who are also just super great people as well as a marijuana business. It’s always a good day to swing by the local cannabis spot if for nothing else than a smile and a quick hello.

I take all of the client complaints seriously and I looked up her order so I could see who the driver was. It was impossible to find the woman’s name in the system. I asked the lady if she was for sure that she ordered from our weed shop. The lady acted essentially like I called her a liar, she became particularly miserable and even more miserable. She offered me her name once more, even though I still could not find her order. I asked the lady to tell me about the products that she ordered online. I was basically trying to match the order items to a certain customer. That did not work especially well either, and I was fast to come to the realization that the client did not have an order in our system. I was able to explain to the lady that we do not carry a couple of those products in our weed store. She must have contacted another weed store to make the unique order. It was unbelievable news for my staff and I, but not so good news for the customer. I urged the lady to reach out to the other weed store with a name that is somewhat similar to ours.

I carefully explained to the lady that we don’t carry a couple of those products in our pot shop. She must have contacted a completely different pot shop to place the order. It was absolutely wonderful news for my staff and I, but disappointing news for the customer for certain. I urged the lady to contact the other pot shop with a name that is pretty similar to ours.

I carefully explained to the lady that the people I was with and I don’t carry any of those products in our store. She must have contacted another dispensary altogether to place the order. It was great news for our staff plus I, however horrible news for the customer. I urged the lady to contact the other cannabis shop with a name that is similar to ours.
