My mom Pat has been on medical cannabis for the past year.
When I started using medical cannabis almost three years ago, Pat thought cannabis was a horrible drug.
She thought I was using drugs plus refused to know that cannabis had any real medicinal value. Then our mom got sick plus she needed surgery. Pat was in a lot of pain plus I provided her some cannabis to help. Pat was willing to try anything at this point, so she smoked a joint with me outside on the porch. The next day Pat wanted to talk about medical cannabis. She got her prescription card a few months later. Now Pat smokes cannabis every Friday night, and most other nights too. She doesn’t smoke it all throughout the rest of the week unless she has a lot of pain, but she 100% smokes every Friday night for recreational purposes. That is the 1 night during the week when Pat also has a drink. I guess it’s great that our mom has 1 night each week when she entirely relaxes plus rests easy. She smokes a little bit of cannabis plus drinks a bottle of wine plus I do not guess there is anything wrong with that. Her husband doesn’t savor our Mom’s new system for relaxing, however he hasn’t said anything out loud to Pat, he just rolls his eyes plus mumbles under his breath from time to time. Dad spends most of his time outside in the garage. He doesn’t mention cannabis when they are together. To me it seems savor they are living 2 separate lives.
