My sibling Kim had been talking about opening a cannabis dispensary ever since Kim found out that they might legalize medical marijuana.
Kim told me I could be his first customer, and my first order would be on him. I wrote some articles about medical cannabis in other states. It wasn’t as self-explanatory to open up a cannabis dispensary as Kim thought it would be. Kim would need to take classes and learn more about cannabis than he ever thought he wanted to know. Kim would need to take company classes and get licensed for several things. Kim had never been the most responsible person, and he would abruptly need to be highly responsible, or risk loss of business, and/or legal problems. I told Kim when he opens the cannabis dispensary, my buddy and I would discuss medical cannabis for me. Kim told me I was a downer and walked away from me. That conversation happened almost four years ago, and he is now working on getting his own cannabis dispensary. Kim told me that with all the talk about medical marijuana also including recreational marijuana; it was time to start the business. Some laws would be less stringent, and Kim wanted to get in on the ground floor of opening a marijuana cafe in our area. I knew there was going to be something about these plans. Kim had gone from wanting a medical cannabis dispensary to managing a medical cannabis dispensary that also included recreational cannabis. Now Kim is talking about a marijuana cafe which may or may not be included in the laws regarding use of recreational marijuana.
