The consulting service has a corporate dispensary account

My oldest kid is in junior high now, or I guess they call it “middle school” these days.

A lot of things have changed since I went to school, but one tradition that is still alive is for parents to come in on Career Day and talk to different classes about what their jobs are really like.

Knowing that I work in the cannabis dispensary, my son was a little embarrassed to have me come in and speak to his classmates, but he really needn’t have worried about that. Once I explained to the kids that I don’t have anything to do with marijuana sales, I simply work as a cannabis dispensary marketing service consultant, they were less interested in my job. I usually don’t even go to the dispensary, since the marketing service focuses on online content, social media, and blog posts to grow brand awareness. The consulting service where I work is very liberal, and has an open corporate account at the local dispensary where we can spend up to $500 per year or corporate money. How cool is it that the consulting service treats pot as medicine that can help you do better work? That alone makes this consulting service a great job for me, just the sheer fact they value their employees happiness. Also, since the consulting service focuses exclusively on cannabis dispensaries, we need to stay in touch with the current products ,don’t we? Dispensary consulting can be hard work, with lots of document processing involved, so the free pot is a great work incentive.
