Last month I had a problem with a guy at the gym.
We were both on the treadmill and he kept staring at me.
When I finally got up and moved to a different machine, the guy followed me and asked me to have dinner. I politely said no and left my workout session early. The guy who’s name is Tom did not hit on me again, but I frequently saw him at the gym when I was there. I went to the gym at different times during the day so I could avoid Tom at all costs. It didn’t matter if it was morning, noon, or night. Tom was always there when I was working out. It’s been a month since Tom started showing up at the gym every time I am there, and now he is working as a delivery driver at the cannabis dispensary where I work. I never told the guy where I worked, and I am certainly worried that he is stalking me. I told my boss at the cannabis shop all about the guy and she laughed. She told me that it was probably just a strange coincidence, because the cannabis shop is in a small town. I really don’t know what I can do to stay safe when nobody except me thinks there is a problem. My boss isn’t going to do anything unless the guy puts me in the trunk of his car. I can’t quit going to the gym and quit my job at the cannabis shop, so I’m left with very little options.
