It’s hard to complain when our neighbor’s use cannabis, because it is legal in this state, it has been for the last many years.

I wasn’t recognizably interested in legalizing medical and recreational marijuana. I wasn’t using the drug, so I did not take any interest in the laws, a lot of things have changed since cannabis was legalized. There are shops that sell cannabis supplies all over that city; Some of those shops even have seating areas so people can hang out and smoke pot. Several of our neighbors use cannabis products, however one neighbor in particular consistently sits on his porch to smoke a joint. The guy is right above our lake house and I can hear the sounds of his iPhone at night. I cannot complain about the smell of weed, because the guy is not doing anything illegal; Believe me, I tried to complain to the manager of the lake house building. I wrote a letter to the building manager as well, then nothing seemed to help at all and I eventually gave up on trying. Now I put up with the excruciating lingering smell that is consistently in the air. I cannot rest outside on our porch, because someone is consistently smoking weed outside. I cannot smell fresh air or the trees or the leaves, because the only smell is the stench of marijuana. It might be time to transport to a weird region where marijuana is still considered illegal and problematic.
